The Welsummer pedigree
flock |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Willy, at 5 years old. A proud and possessive
Welsummer cockerel. Occasionally he will tolerate another male companion
particularly if it is one of his offspring but will not allow competition.
|
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Welsummer chickens are certainly among
the most attractive. The cockerels, often also seen as bantams, are
familiar because they appear in so many pictures. The hens, less spectacular,
have a warm comfortable look about them and lay the best looking eggs
on the market. All Barton Welsummers range
freely and are bred mostly from our own
stock.. |
