A little more time with the trees
Apart from the overhang from the great oak on the left, none of the trees above existed sixteen years ago. Today, grass doesn't grow beneath them and they are a favourite shelter for the sheep.

The copper beech in the drive was planted as a semi-mature tree in 1990.
This hedgerow was planted from scratch in the Autumn of 1993.
This is one of three Lime trees which were planted as semi-mature trees in 1990.
An assorted six year old plantation with Maple, Beech Oak and Cherry.
The tree guards have all been split since last summer and will be removed this year.
A spinney with a pond used by the village school as a wild-life area.
